The Hotel GEMO is privately owned and does not belong to any hotel chain. The hotel opened in 1994 when it received the Building of the Year award, the last renewal took place in 2009. For its quality of services and its location, GEMO is the most popular hotel of its category in Olomouc and surroundings. The hotel is located in the very historical centre, one of its parts is a 13-th century burgher house. The original design retro-style furniture, accompanied by artworks of Moravian artists and Kristian Kodet, a famous Czech painter, form a unique atmosphere of the hotel - a perfect symbiosis of history with the present.

The hotel Gemo offers 33 rooms / 2 suites, 6 double-bed rooms in the superior category, 20 standard double-bed rooms and 5 single-bed rooms. Each room offers free access to high-speed Internet, satellite TV, direct-dial phone, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating, mini-bar, safe-deposit box and bathroom. Reconstruction of the hotel, originally the burgher house built in the 13th century, was made after the architect Petr Brauner. Hotel Gemo interior (designed by the architect Eugen Tocik) is made only from natural materials.The original furnifure in retro style is complimented by art work from varioous Moravian artists and famous czech painter Kristian Kodet , all go to make up a perfect symbiosis of history and the present time.Last refurbishment in 2009. The hotel offers two conference lounges with the capacity of 16 and 30 persons, with audiovisual facilities being provided on payment.

The hotel GEMO offers to provide you with banquets and receptions for up to 300 persons. Our chefs will be pleased to show their skills in the preparation of a wide spectrum of meals of both regional and international cuisine according to the latest gastronomic trends, as well as saltwater and freshwater fishes.
